ACHIEVE SUCCESS IN YOUR LIFE

We have all at one time or another lived below our potential. Whether you have felt that you don’t make enough money, can’t take that vacation you’ve been dreaming about, don’t have the caliber of person or people in your life that you would want to have, find yourself in a financially poor state unable to take care of yourself and your family or if you find yourself spiritually bankrupt…or all of the above...you are not alone.

Many people, including myself, have been there. Inf fact, you are in good company. There are many #millionaires, even billionaires that have started later in their lives and finally claimed the rewards they were chasing after much hard work and determination.

But what if you are in that moment when you don’t have clarity and you don’t have financial stability or security and you don’t have all the wonderful things that you would like in your life and in the lives of the ones you love? What do you do? How do you make the changes necessary to bring about amazing #abundance and good fortune in all the areas of your life?

It occurred o me one day as I passed a jewelry store at the local mall where the most brilliant diamonds caught my eye. We are all the jewelers of our own lives. After all, doesn’t everyone want their lives to shine brilliantly? Our lives are a raw, uncut diamond and what we the jewelers do with our diamond creates the end result of the lives we lead…good and bad.

A diamond in its raw, uncut state is nothing more than a rock awaiting transformation. But beneath the rough and dull surfaces lies it potential. Our lives are the same…all humans are born with an intellectual curiosity and limitless potential. It is the external environment that applies pressure in one direction or another that is allowed by a person to determine their life path. Here you see external forces creating the final product of a person’s life…much like the pressure used to create a diamond.

Buy why do some individuals seem to rise to infinite abundance and wealth while others seem to languish, never to move beyond the confines of their lives as they are? The never seem to thrive and strive for more than they have, but simply seem content to exist from day to day.

It is because they do not recognize that they are the jeweler and their life in an uncut, unpolished and unrefined diamond. Because the very moment that a jeweler picks up that raw, uncut diamond they assume a responsibility to create a brilliant work of art. The jeweler has taken the time to acquire the knowledge of how to make precise cuts and to thoughtfully plan the outcome of the #diamond. So too must every individual take the same care with the diamond that is their life. Just as a diamond must be cut with precision, knowledge, care, and thought, so too must every persons life be given the same precision, knowledge, care, and thought.

What does this mean to you? Simply put…your life is your diamond! Would you want to be the owner of an ordinary average rock or an amazingly brilliant diamond? It is important to know that you must make the “cuts” (attention and changes) in all the different “facets” (areas) of your life to change that raw, uncut rock into a diamond. Without the cuts and polish, your life can’t possibly reach the level of brilliance that you desire to achieve. Therefore, you must plan those cuts with precision and with the outcome in mind. You might protest and say that you have all that you need in your life…that you only want to be average, to live an ordinary life. The reality is that as a jeweler, you have just not given enough attention to the facets that need to be cut into your diamond. When you finally begin to pay attention to and make the “cuts” you will find that your path begins to pen up and new opportunities not only present themselves, you actually recognize them and the necessity to take the leap of faith needed to take advantage of those #opportunities. Then you, the jeweler of your life, must polish that newly cut stone to brilliance!

Each facet in your life represents the emotional, mental, intellectual, physical, spiritual, and relationships areas of your life. As the jeweler, you will notice immediately if you have not given the thought or obtained the knowledge needed to create a personal vision. Remember, for a diamond to reach it’s fullest potential, the jeweler must have an end result in mind. So too, should you….in knowing where you want to end up you will naturally begin to take the steps that will take you there. Now, with that said, don’t think that all you need to do is make a few goals, sit back and you will automatically arrive at your destination one year later. It takes focus, and remember, #goals, planning, strategy, #courage and knowledge.
